Knowledge is power. Creativity is everything.

My Creative Journey.

Hello, I’m Chad, a Toronto native, and a dedicated Creative. My aim is for you to leave my site feeling inspired to create. Creativity lies at the heart of all my endeavors, whether I’m working with Adobe products or simply sketching in a notebook. I thrive on the continuous challenge of pushing the boundaries of my creativity. There’s nothing quite like the sensation of immersing myself in a project and reaching a state of flow. Those moments when I exceed what I once thought was impossible serve as a constant reminder of why I love what I do.

Uncovering Creativity. Part 2 – Music

In this video we’ll be taking a look a video I recorded back in 2018. I share my passion for music and how playing the bass guitar allowed me to rediscover my creativity. These short videos highlight different moments in my creative journey – the ups, the downs, the good and the bad. My with hope with this series is to inspire others in finding their hidden skills and abilities.

Uncovering Creativity. Part 2a – Playing bass changed my life.

Music has always played a huge role in my life. In this video I go into why I started playing bass and how that one decision changed my life.

Uncovering Creativity. Part 3 – Acting and Self-Discovery

In this video we’ll be taking a look a video recorded back in 2016. I took part in a 3-day acting workshop called “on-camera self-discovery and personal development”. I will be sharing a number of videos from the workshop to help others have a better understanding of how acting classes allowed me to rediscover my creativity.

Uncovering Creativity. Part 4 – Emotional Toolkit

I took part in a 3-day acting workshop called “On-Camera Self-Discovery and Personal Development.” During day 2 of the workshop I learned to get in touch with a side of myself that is rarely shown. By putting myself in the shoes of the character, I left with deeper understanding of my emotional capabilities. I was able to understand that my emotions are tools in my creative toolkit that I can use when required for a particular scene, without loosing myself in it. This gave me the confidence to go deeper within myself.

These short videos highlight different moments in my creative journey. My hope is to inspire others in finding their hidden skills and abilities through creative means.

Creativity is everything.

It’s more than sketching..

In this video I go over one of the the biggest investments I made in myself back in 2019! What was that you ask? A Sketchbook! Even if you’re not a designer/artist/creative I still recommend that people go out and get one! I also wanted to share a bit of my creative process and the steps I take to bring an idea to life.

Information is power.

Why buy it, when you can make it!

Why spend $45 on a shirt for another brand that hasn’t done anything for you? Attention and impressions are a big money makers in the advertising world. Why not rep your own brand or message? In this video I wanted to show everyone how you can start your own T-Shirt design side hustle. It’s fairly simple, all you need is a plotter, a heat press and patience. Come along for the ride, this is all new to me! Let’s make some mistakes! Most importantly save some money!

Additional Endeavors

Beyond my main projects, I have actively pursued various additional endeavors, with a particular focus on acting and music. These captivating pursuits encompass a diverse range of creative opportunities that beautifully complement my primary focus. They serve as a gateway for me to explore new avenues within the performing arts, experiment with different characters, and broaden my artistic horizons. Engaging in these additional acting endeavors allows me to express my deep passion for the craft, constantly evolving and growing as a versatile artist who is driven by the thrill of creativity.

Youtube Bass Covers

Unaware of the incredible impact it would have, I initially began playing the bass guitar in my bedroom. This simple hobby unexpectedly reignited my passion for creativity, breathing new life into my artistic pursuits and presenting me with opportunities I had only dreamt of. Motivated by the significance of applying oneself, I made the decision to keep my channel active, aiming to showcase the importance of dedication. My bedroom acts as the symbolic ground zero, representing the journey that spans from playing in front of my camera to performing on stages across Ontario. It serves as a testament to the transformative power of pursuing one’s passion and the remarkable possibilities that can emerge from even the humblest beginnings.

Reuben And The Dark – Heart in Two!

One day, I made the decision to reach out to a modeling agency. Why? Why not? As it turned out, I got signed and soon started receiving exciting call-backs. This marked one of my earliest roles. Being in a music video had always been a big dream of mine, as I had crafted my own visions in my mind. Although my scene was brief, it allowed me to witness the collective effort required to create a stunning music video. I left the shoot with a newfound appreciation for the incredible talent that contributes to the making of a music video.

Billy Talent – Afraid Of Heights

Having been a fan of Billy Talent in high school, I was thrilled to be a part of this music video! It marked my first experience in a role like this, and it truly allowed me to challenge myself as a new actor. The shoot spanned over three days, covering locations in downtown Toronto and parts of Hamilton. Similar to my initial shooting experience, I was profoundly impressed by the entire crew. Observing everyone collaborate towards a common goal was truly inspiring. From the makeup artists and set designers to costume designers and CGI artists, everyone involved motivated me not only to pursue my creative endeavors but also to realize that you can’t do everything alone.

Jeremie Albino – Last Night

I had an amazing time being a part of this music video! Interestingly, I had previously collaborated with Murphy, my partner in the video, on the Ruben in the Dark music video (small world, isn’t it?). I’m grateful for the opportunity to help bring the vision to life. Working with everyone, including the crew, was a fantastic experience. Once again, I was astounded by the amount of effort that goes into creating a 3- or 4-minute music video.
